Our
Story
WPM has evolved from a small maintenance company started in 2018 into a dynamic multi-trade construction firm. On March 1, 2024, WPM merged with Access | Partners in Property, expanding our local team to 27 skilled professionals.
The integration of WPM (Waikato Property Maintenance) into the Access family is a joining of two strategically aligned businesses. This merger has presented an opportunity to expand capacity and increase the range of services Access | Partners in Property offers in the property maintenance and construction sectors across the Waikato.
The collaboration has enabled the business to expand capacity and presence in the Waikato region whilst upholding the standards of delivery excellence, and customer satisfaction both businesses strive for.
Meet the Team
We are New Zealand's leading property solutions company, providing the most creative and innovative solutions consistently. We drive the sector standard up and deliver meaningful value to our clients. We are the best at what we do.
Scott Mathieson - Waikato Business Unit Manager
Scott is an electrician by trade who has worked in a vast array of electrical and project management roles over the years. He is just as at home working on a domestic electrical issue, or problem solving a huge commercial fit out. His area of expertise is fixing issues that others say are too hard, too complex or out of scope. In his spare time, you will find Scott building things in the garage or around the house with his two young sons.
Dane Mathieson – Waikato Operations Manager
Dane is a trained Electrician who has worked in many different countries both as an electrician and project manager. Dane is by far the best operations manager we have ever seen and can manage an extraordinary number of projects at once, with exquisite attention to detail. His area of expertise is delivering projects on time, on budget and to plan. In years gone by, you may have found Dane in his spare time trekking to Everest Base Camp, on a kibbutz in Israel, or hanging out in the Caribbean sea. These days you are more likely to find him trekking laps of the neighbourhood trying to get the little one to sleep.
